Unity Terrain Tips and Tricks for Level design

Hey guys if you want to become pro level designer then you'r the right place now.In this post we discus Unity Terrain Tips and Tricks for Level design.As a game developer i create many environments and landscape using unity terrain system.If i create any environment i use some Unity Terrain Tips and Tricks for Level design.

1.Layout Tip

Layout is very basic and important element for level design.if you use good layout then create better level design and save your time.You know we can easily move Editor UI elements like hierarchy,scene window,game window and inspector window.second image you can see this layout and understand it.

2.Grass Tips

Guys grass is important element for level design.If you create any environment like forest type city type but grass is very important.A high quality grass important your designing. I normally use default unity grass that available on standard assets.i give you my grass setting here.If you use post processing Ambient occlusion effect for grass then your grass is look like amazing.

3.Brush Tip

In level designing brush are very basic and important element for level designer.Some time we need terrain low to high and high to low for designing so you can use brush size is 60% and opacity is 10 to 15.In unity engine available different brushes for designing but my favorite brush is

4.Fog Tip

Fog is important element for any type environments like forest,villages and other types.If you play Assassin creed 3 game in this game add amazing fog.I love this.In unity lighting setting you can easily add fog into your scene and fog and sky box color look like same mean sky clour is full blue and fog clour is normal blue.

5.Wind Tip

Very important element for forest or medieval environments is wind.If you create forest type you must implement wind effect.Wind effect add  your trees and other nature element.You can easily rotate your wind effect with rotate tool.
